Dan Osterweil
MD
Dr. Osterweil is a Professor of Medicine at UCLA, and the founder of the Specialized Ambulatory Geriatric Evaluation (S+AGE™) Clinic. He is the Emiritus-editor and founder of the Journal of the American Medical Directors Association (JAMDA.) He is a member of the editorial board of Caring for the Ages. Dr. Osterweil has co-authored two editions of Medical Care in the Nursing Home, is the co-editor of Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment, and has published over 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals. His areas of expertise include cognitive and functional assessment, particularly fall assessment, management of dementia, pressure ulcers and continuous quality improvement in the nursing home.

David H. Stern
MD
Dr. David H. Stern was educated at Columbia College and then SUNY Downstate medical school, and relocated to southern California where he has lived since 1969. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Gastro-enterology, and Geriatric Medicine. Dr. Stern is currently the Associate Medical Director of S+AGE. He is also a Clinical Instructor at the UCLA Department of Medicine, geriatric division. Dr Stern's research and accomplishments have been published in numerous journals, and he has given several presentations regarding geriatric assessment. He has served as a relevance reviewer for geriatric medicine with the American Board of Internal Medicine and as a question and critique writer for the 2006 edition of the Geriatric Review Syllabus.

Annette Swain
PhD
Annette Swain, Ph.D., ABPP is the chief neuropsychologist at S+AGE. Initially trained at the Benton Neuropsychology Laboratory at the University of Iowa and later at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute and Hospital, she is now an Associate Clinical Professor at the UCLA Department of Psychology. Dr. Swain is board certified in Clinical Psychology. Her areas of expertise include neuropsychological and psychodiagnostic assessment of geriatric, neurological, general medical, and psychiatric patients. She is a frequent presenter in the community on topics involving aging, dementia, mental health, and Neuropsychology.

Jennifer Watson
Ph.D
Jennifer Watson, Ph.D., a Clinical Psychologist and Neuropsychologist, has been providing neuropsychological evaluations and psychotherapy to adults of all ages for the last twenty years. She has dedicated her career to working with patients and their families from neuropsychological diagnosis throughout total course of illness. In 1986, she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at UCLA in Clinical Geropsychology, with an emphasis in geriatric neuropsychology. In 2003, Dr. Watson co-created The Memory Club Program for the Alzheimer’s Association California Southland Chapter out of her belief that people with memory loss and their care partners can benefit tremendously from ongoing education, group, individual and family therapeutic support. She continues to facilitate The Memory Club and conducts support groups for the Alzheimer’s Association, National MS Society, and Los Angeles Jewish Home for the Aging. At her Northridge Neurological Center office, she also provides neuropsychological evaluations and psychotherapy to younger and older adults suffering from depression, stress, memory loss, and many different neurological illnesses. She is now very pleased to join the team at the S+AGE Clinic, a community-based geriatric assessment center in Sherman Oaks.
